Client: B/S/H Group
Year: 2023
Role: Motion Designer

To illustrate the optimization of the steel processing workflow at B/S/H Group, I created a professional 2D animationhighlighting the differences between the pre-improvement and post-improvement processes. The animation effectively visualizes key production stages, inefficiencies, and improvements using engaging motion design and clear visual cues.

In the pre-improvement phase, the animation depicts the steel coil being transported, positioned, and processed, highlighting inefficiencies such as misalignment and material waste. Critical moments are emphasized with red warning effects, visually indicating problematic areas—such as material stretching issues and incorrectly cut steel pieces being discarded. The operator’s reaction is also shown to enhance emotional engagement.

In the post-improvement phase, the animation rewinds time to seamlessly transition into the optimized process. The improved workflow demonstrates precision cutting (with green confirmation effects), proper material handling, and the correct placement of steel pieces into designated areas. The final scene features the operator making a successful gesture, reinforcing the efficiency gains achieved.

Through minimal and modern design, smooth transitions, and color-coded visual feedback, the animation effectively communicates process optimization and waste reduction, ensuring clarity for both technical teams and decision-makers.
